The Reception Transition:
For Parents
A free 20-minute workshop for parents of children starting Reception
Everyone talks about preparing children for school.
But very few people talk about what it feels like for parents.
If your child is starting Reception this September, you might be feeling excited.
You might be feeling worried.
You might be feeling emotional.
You might be feeling all three at once.
And that's completely normal.

In this free 20-minute workshop, I'll help you understand:
✓ Why starting school can feel so much bigger than we expect
✓ Why many parents experience grief, worry and excitement at the same time
✓ Why school life can feel surprisingly overwhelming
✓ How to manage the mental load that comes with school
✓ What helps parents navigate the transition with more confidence and less pressure
This workshop is for you if:
• Your child is starting Reception this year
• You're feeling emotional about this next chapter
• You're worried about how they will settle
• You're worried about how you will cope
• You want practical, compassionate support through the transition
